John C. Hansen (credited as John Hansen) is the actor who portrayed an alien prisoner in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Canamar". He was listed as "Prisoner" in the end credits of the episode.

Primary a stage actor, Hansen has portrayed lead and supporting characters in plays such as The Picture of Dorain Gray, Othello, A Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It, The Three Musketeers, Henry V, Cyrano, and Romeo and Juliet. Hansen is also a trained dancer and baritone singer.

He played leading roles in several independent films, including An Hour to Kill, Le Chasse, Washington Square, Change of Heart, and Reconciliation. He also appeared in the television series All My Children, Homicide: Life on the Street (1994-1995), and Firefly.

More recently, Hansen played the role of Brendan in the comedy A New Tomorrow (2007) along Bob Clendenin.
