John Carroll was the On-Line Editor for all four of the live-action Star Trek spin-off series, from Star Trek: The Next Generation through Star Trek: Enterprise. He served in this same capacity for the 2000 short web film Slice of Life, starring Star Trek: Voyager actor Robert Picardo and Trek stuntwoman Patricia Tallman and behind the scenes crew David Livingston, Joe Chess, Peter Lefevre, Damaris Cordelia, Adele Simmons, and Bradley Look.

Carroll currently owns a resort in Texas.
