Joe Candrella served as a 2nd Assistant Director (AD) on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine during the show's sixth season and served as both 1st AD and 2nd AD during season seven. He was also 1st AD on at least one episode of Star Trek: Voyager, season four's "One". He later became a 1st AD on 7th Heaven, starring Stephen Collins and Catherine Hicks.
