Jerry Daniels (1 September 193826 March 2020; age 81) is an actor who played Lt. Marple in the Star Trek: The Original Series second season episode "The Apple". He filmed his scenes between Monday 17 July 1967 and Thursday 20 July 1967 at Desilu Stage 10.

Prior to his appearance on Star Trek, he appeared in the 12 O'Clock High (1966; with Frank Overton), where he was one of four actors injured during the filming of the episode "The Slaughter Pen". He suffered from a broken rib, wretched back, and a sprained ankle which came as a result of filming action scenes on a slippery canyon slope.

In December 1966, he was cast in the Dean Martin film Band of Gold, aka How to Save a Marriage and Ruin Your Life (1968; with Alan Oppenheimer)

Following his appearance on Star Trek he rounded out the late 1960s, on such television series as The Outcasts (1969; with William Wintersole), The High Chaparral (1969; starring Henry Darrow).

In the 1970s, his body of work included the horror film The Velvet Vampire (1971; co-starring Celeste Yarnall), and an episode of Cade's County (1971; directed by Joseph Pevney).

From 1974-1977, he appeared in five episodes of Police Story in non-recurring roles (with Arthur Batanides, Stanley Kamel, Ed McCready, Byron Morrow, Brock Peters, and Robert Stack). During that time, he also appeared on Quincy, M.E. (1976; starring Robert Ito and Garry Walberg, with Henry Darrow), and The Fantastic Journey (1977; with Jeffrey Byron and Ike Eisenmann). Daniels later had a supporting role in the independent action film The Norseman (1978, with Seamon Glass).
