Jerry Clemans is a sound mixer and re-recording mixer who worked on at least two episodes of the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. He only received credit in the end credits of the pilot episode "Encounter at Farpoint". For "Where No One Has Gone Before", Clemans received an Emmy Award nomination in 1988 for Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Drama Series which he shared with Alan Bernard, Chris Haire, and Doug Davey.

Beside his work on Star Trek, Clemans won two Emmy Awards: In 1980 for Outstanding Achievement in Tape Sound Mixing on the NBC music special Sinatra: The First 40 Years and in 1981 in the same category for the ABC music special John Denver with His Special Guest George Burns: Two of a Kind. Between 1977 and 1996 he received sixteen more Emmy Award nominations for various music specials, the television series Fame and Cybill, and the television drama A Woman Named Jackie. In 1985 he also received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Live and Tape Sound Mixing and Sound Effects for his work on the CBS comedy series Pryor's Place.

Clemans started his career in the sound department in the early 1970s and worked until 2005. Beside a number of television music specials and features with stars such as Kenny Rogers, Donna Summer, Olivia Newton-John, and Frank Sinatra, he also worked on several television series including Fame (1983-1984), Growing Pains (1985), Baywatch (1989-1990), and Cybill (1995-1996).

In addition, Clemans worked as sound re-recording mixer on films such as the science fiction comedy Not Quite Human II (1989, starring Jay Underwood), the comedy Secret Agent OO Soul (1990), the horror film The Runestone (1991), the action film Showdown (1993), the television drama Unforgivable (1996), the television drama A Father for Brittany (1998), the television drama Naughty or Nice (2004, with Lisa Vidal), and the crime comedy Little Athens (2005, with Michelle Horn).
