Jennifer Gatti (born 4 October 1968; age 46) is an actress who played the role of Ba'el in the Star Trek: The Next Generation sixth season episodes "Birthright, Part I" and "Birthright, Part II" in 1993. Later, she portrayed Libby in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Non Sequitur". Her costume from her previous Trek appearance was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1] Gatti was a runner-up for the role of Kes, eventually won by Jennifer Lien. (Captains' Logs Supplemental - The Unauthorized Guide to the New Trek Voyages, p. 156)

Gatti's earliest work in film was as the title character in the video for Bon Jovi's hit song "Runaway". Gatti made her movie debut in the 1991 period crime film Mobsters. She shared the screen with the likes of F. Murray Abraham, Seymour Cassel, Frank Collison, Willie Garson, Christian Slater, and Titus Welliver and followed this with 1992's We're Talkin Serious Money (with Robert Costanzo and Barbara Alyn Woods). In 1993, Gatti appeared in Double Exposure (with Ron Perlman) and Nemesis (with Nicholas Guest, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, and Branscombe Richmond).

After TNG, Gatti appeared in Things That Go Bump (with Gregory Itzin) in 1997. 1999 saw Gatti in another film with its share of Trek actors, Blood Money (with Erich Anderson, Alicia Coppola, Raymond Cruz, and Gregory Sierra) and Millennium Man (with Jonathan Banks, Michael Harney, and Monte Markham). The most recent movie Gatti appeared in was 2002's The Ten Rules.

On television, Gatti starred in the CBS Schoolbreak Special (with Lanei Chapman and Tricia O'Neil). Gatti next appeared on Doogie Howser, M.D. (starring Lawrence Pressman and James B. Sikking). She also appeared on Cheers (starring Kirstie Alley, Kelsey Grammer, and Bebe Neuwirth). Gatti's next television role was on the short-lived Flying Blind (with Robert Bauer and Cristine Rose). Drama was next on ER (with Lily Mariye). After her work on this medical drama, Gatti made her way to The Division (with Joseph Campanella, Georgann Johnson, Julia Nickson-Soul, and Simon Templeman). Gatti went from local to federal law enforcement with a turn on NCIS (with Alan Dale, Tim Kelleher, and Rudolf Martin). Gatti then guested on CSI (with Steven Culp, Wallace Langham, and Kim Rhodes). On CSI: Miami Gatti worked with fellow TNG/VOY guest star Eric Pierpoint and due to her work on NCIS, Gatti won a guest role on its parent series JAG (starring David Andrews, Scott Lawrence, and Zoe McLellan), in an episode with Dey Young. Gatti also appeared as a guest in a 2005 episode of Surface, and in a 2010 episode of Drop Dead Diva.
