Jeff Mariotte is a Star Trek author. Jeff was born in Park Forest, Illinois, but moved frequently since his father worked for the United States Defense Department.

He studied at San Jose State University where he received a degree in Radio / TV / Film.

He currently lives in Arizona with his wife and two children.
