Jeff Mann was an employee at Industrial Light & Magic who was assigned as a model maker in several Star Trek films. Mann worked under Steve Gawley during the construction of the USS Reliant studio model. By 1987 he was promoted to Model Shop Supervisor and oversaw the construction of the two-, and six foot Galaxy-class studio models.
