Jay Smith appeared as an Enterprise crewmember in the recreation deck scenes in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. He was part of the group of extras which surrounded Dennis Fischer along with Kathleen Sky, Don Fanning, Leigh Strother-Vien, Bjo Trimble, and Katherine Kurtz. [1]
