James Crocker was a writer and supervising producer on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine on its second and third seasons.

He served as supervising producer from "The Homecoming" to "The Jem'Hadar".

Crocker went on to write episodes of Stargate SG-1, The Outer Limits and The Twilight Zone. He had previously written for the 1980s version of the latter television show. Crocker also wrote several episodes of Simon & Simon in the 1980s.
