The Invernians were a species native to the planet Invernia II.

In 2351, Julian Bashir met a sick Invernian girl while he and his father sheltered from an ionic storm on the planet. When the storm was over, his father went to get help for the girl but by the time he had returned, it was too late and Bashir witnessed her die in front of him. (DS9: "Melora")
