Interfactor was an engineering variable observed aboard Constitution-class starships.

When Nomad was in the engineering section aboard the USS Enterprise in 2266, the overcautious chief engineer Scott informed his engineers to watch their panels, and to "watch that polymass", before instructing Roger Lemli to "help with the interfactor." (TOS: "The Changeling")
