An imager is a device similar in nature to a camera. After retrieving a list of Bajoran names from a wall panel in the old chemist's shop aboard Deep Space 9, Quark told his brother Rom to fetch an imager so he could copy the list. However, Quark was shot and the list stolen. (DS9: "Necessary Evil")
