Hydrazine (N2H4) is a compound used aboard Starfleet shuttlecraft.
In 2373, Captain Kathryn Janeway and Commander Chakotay were forced to crash land the shuttlecraft Sacajawea during an away mission after it was exposed to electrical interference from a nearby planet. As a result of the damage caused during landing, the shuttle began leaking hydrazine into the cabin, forcing Janeway and Chakotay to abandon it. (VOY: "Coda")
