Explosives 2

Diagram of a molecule of this compound (second from top)

Hutzelite 27 was a magnesium-based fuel used in remote spectroscopy vaporization devices. The fuel was provided in .005 g pellets for field spectroscopy tricorder use and 0.2 kg charges for use in long-range impact space probes. Personnel handling this fuel had to protect it from ionizing radiation. In 2367, this explosive was stored on aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise-D.

In that year, Hutzelite 27 was on a list of explosives that Lieutenant Commander Data and Counselor Deanna Troi searched through in an attempt to find one that could produce enough energy to release the USS Enterprise-D and an alien ship from the Tyken's Rift. (TNG: "Night Terrors")

Other than the name, none of the information for this explosive was carried over from the old graphics into the new graphics created for the remastered episode.
This one is a reference to visual effects coordinator Gary Hutzel. (Star Trek: The Next Generation Companion)
