Ensign Hoya (2373)
Ensign Hoya was a female Benzite who served on Deep Space Nine in the early 2370s. Her wedding ceremony had been performed by Benjamin Sisko.
During a mission to the Gamma Quadrant planet Torga IV, she died in 2373, when the runabout she was in was destroyed by the Jem'Hadar. (DS9: The Ship)
- Hoya was the first and only Benzite shown without a respiration device. She was also the first female Benzite shown and the last Benzite on screen to date, this has let to much speculation about the repiration device. She was played by actress Hilary Shepard.
