In early 2366, Hoy beamed an away team down to Delta Rana IV. (TNG: "The Survivors")

A short time later, Captain Picard relieved Hoy of his station at the transporter controls, so that Picard alone could greet a Mintakan named Nuria after he beamed her up from the surface of Mintaka III. (TNG: "Who Watches The Watchers")

In an alternate timeline created by the USS Enterprise-C Hoy served as transporter operator aboard the Enterprise-D. He beamed Lieutenant Richard Castillo back aboard the Enterprise-C following the death of Captain Rachel Garrett. (TNG: "Yesterday's Enterprise")
