Houston was a city in Texas.

In the 20th and 21st centuries, this city was home to NASA's Mission Control. In 1969, this center sent its approval for Neil Armstrong's manned spacewalk after Apollo 11 had landed on Luna. (VOY: "11:59")

In 2012, Brent S. Jay Raymond, the future husband of Denise C. Raymond, was born in this city. (TNG-R: "The Neutral Zone", okudagram)

On October 19, 2032, the Ares IV on Mars received an uplink from Mission Control in Houston. One of the pieces of news given in the uplink was that the New York Yankees had just won the fifth game of the World Series, taking a 3-2 lead over the London Kings. However, Buck Bokai had just broken a second of Joe DiMaggio's long-standing baseball records. John Kelly and Rose Kumagawa complained that there were too many Kings fans at Mission Control. (VOY: "One Small Step")
