Houston was a major port city in eastern Texas, US. This city was located on the Gulf of Mexico.

On October 19, 2032, the Ares IV on Mars received an uplink from NASA's Mission Control in Houston. One of the pieces of news given in the uplink was that the New York Yankees had just won the fifth game of the World Series, taking a 3-2 lead over the London Kings.
