Hong Kong was a port city on the coast of the East China Sea in south-eastern China. (TOS: "The Cage")
This city was identified on a political map of the North Pacific region. This map was accessed from the USS Enterprise library computer by the Talosians in 2254.
In one of Doctor Julian Bashir's holosuite-adventures, Julian Bashir, Secret Agent, he played a British spy, operating out of Kowloon, in the 1960s. (DS9: "Our Man Bashir")
