Dax as Honey Bare
Dr. Honey Bare was a character in the Julian Bashir, Secret Agent holoprogram. Bare was a brilliant geologist, and one of more than sixty great thinkers and artists who were kidnapped or otherwise taken to the Himalayan retreat of Dr. Hippocrates Noah in that program.
In 2372 the character of Bare temporarily assumed the physical characteristics of Jadzia Dax after her transporter pattern was stored in the holodeck following the explosion of the USS Orinoco. This provided Julian Bashir, who was playing the role of the main character in the program, with the opportunity to "rescue" Dax within the context of the program. (DS9: "Our Man Bashir")
Honey Bare's name is a tribute to the James Bond series' tradition of women with sexually suggestive names. (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion, p. 295)
