The Holy Rings of Betazed are important artifacts to the Betazoids.
In the late 24th century, Lwaxana Troi, daughter of the Fifth House of Betazed, holder of the Sacred Chalice of Rixx, was the heir to the Holy Rings of Betazed – something she never failed to mention in formal introductions. (TNG: "Haven", "Half a Life"; DS9: "The Forsaken")
According to the non-canon short story "The Ceremony of Innocence is Drowned" by Keith R.A. DeCandido in the collection Tales of the Dominion War, the Holy Rings of Betazed were destroyed along with the Sacred Chalice of Rixx when Lwaxana Troi's home was levelled during the Dominion invasion of Betazed.
