A holocomic was a form of graphic novel that utilized holographic technology as a storytelling medium.

In 2371, Tom Paris reminisced about his childhood doctor, "Doc Brown," who always kept holocomics in his waiting room, none more than six months old. (VOY: "Cathexis")
