The Hindu Festival of Lights was a festive holiday in India, celebrated with earthen lamps, fireworks, sweets and gifts.
In 2367, the Festival coincidentally was celebrated on the one thousand five hundred fiftieth day since the USS Enterprise-D was commissioned. (TNG: "Data's Day")
This festival is also known by the name "Diwali".
