Lieutenant Commander Hester Dealt was a 24th century medical trustee, Federation Medical Collection Station.
In 2365, the USS Enterprise-D was dispatched to 'Aucdet IX to retrieve specimens of plasma plague for transfer to science station Tango Sierra.
After approving the infectuous viral containment unit built by new Enterprise-D chief engineer Lieutenant Geordi La Forge, the specimens were transferred into the containment unit. During transport to Tango Sierra, Hester Dealt had the task of continually monitoring the specimens for signs of growth. (TNG: "The Child")
