Heracles was a heroic figure in Greek mythology, the son of the god Zeus and a Human woman. He was more widely known by the Roman form of his name, Hercules.

The constellation Hercules was named for him. (VOY: "Lifesigns")

Henry Janeway remarked in late 2000, that the great Greek heroes like Hercules, Agamemnon or Odysseus had all been raised by single parents. (VOY: "11:59")

In 2267, Apollo compared the "prideful and arrogant" behavior of James T. Kirk to that of Hercules and Agamemnon until they had felt Apollo's wrath. Kirk's facial expression seemed to confirm this. (TOS: "Who Mourns for Adonais?")

The Leonardo da Vinci hologram interacted with by Kathryn Janeway in late 2373, had produced two portraits of a cardinal's nephew depicting him like a heroic Hercules or Achilles. (VOY: "Scorpion")
