Henry VI, Part II was a play written by William Shakespeare dealing with the events in English history referred to as the Wars of the Roses.

In 2364, Picard referenced the play in describing a facsimile 2079 court created by Q as "the one that agreed with that line from Shakespeare: 'Kill all the lawyers.'" (TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint") Data also cited that line when reviewing his legal strategy with Picard in 2365. (TNG: "The Measure Of A Man" extended edition) Ten years later, in 2375, pages from this play were on display in Picard's quarters aboard the USS Enterprise-E. (Star Trek: Insurrection)

The identification of these pages was made by Jörg Hillebrand and Bernd Schneider for Ex Astris Scientia. [1]
