Henry V was a play written by the great human playwright William Shakespeare. It was one of his greatest historical dramas.
In 2366, Data reinacted Act 4, Scene 1 of Henry V on the holodeck. The scene featured the characters of Michael Williams and John Bates and Data played Henry V the Fifth, in disguise. Captain Jean-Luc Picard later quoted from the scene when confronted with a possible war with the Romulans and the destruction of his ship. (TNG: "The Defector")
In 2370, Henry V was among the literary works selected by Data to better understand humanity. (TNG: "Emergence")
