A scene from Henry V

Henry V was a play written by the Human playwright William Shakespeare, the fourth part of a tetralogy that includes Richard II, Henry IV, Part I and Henry IV, Part II.

In 2293, General Chang quoted the play's lines "Once more unto the breach, dear friends" and "The game's afoot" while his Bird-of-Prey attacked the USS Enterprise -A over Khitomer. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country)

In 2366, Data reenacted Act 4, Scene 1 of Henry V on the holodeck. The scene featured the characters of Michael Williams and John Bates, and Data played a disguised Henry the Fifth. Captain Jean-Luc Picard later quoted from the scene when confronted with a possible war with the Romulans and the destruction of his ship. (TNG: "The Defector")

In 2370, Henry V was among the literary works selected by Data to better understand Humanity. (TNG: "Emergence")

The title of the Deep Space Nine episode "Once More Unto the Breach" comes from Henry V.
