Please fix this "Ads by Google" bar! I understand if it has to be ont he page, but it is actually obscuring parts of the page (text, pictures, etc.), and is a MAJOR annoyance. Please! Thank you!
What to do when the first page before your browser has dark blackground intended to memory alpha, but after you login, your background is totally white and ugly as showering ferengi? How to fix this? --JHawx 17:07, May 20, 2010 (UTC)
- Many of us use the Monobook skin, rather than the default Monaco skin. We've done much more work over the years in customizing MA's look and feel using Monobook rather than Monaco; our customization for Monaco has been rather rudimentary, at best. So, first off, I'd suggest that you switch to Monobook and see if that solves any of your problems. A second option, if, after switching skins you still have issues, is to customize the skin itself to your preferences. An example of doing this can be found at User:Renegade54/monobook.css. -- Renegade54 17:40, May 20, 2010 (UTC)
and where can i find this option??? --JHawx 18:18, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- You'll need to create and customize your monobook.css file under your username (i.e. User:JHawx/monobook.css). -- Renegade54 18:31, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- In the upper right corner there is a drop down menu entitled More. Select the Preferences option. Once on that page, click the Skin tab, go to the bottom of the page and select the Wikipedia skin (Monobook) as your default. You MUST uncheck the admin override option directly below this. Save your changes and reload MA. - Archduk3 18:37, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
