A Havana was a type of 19th century cigar originating from the country Cuba on the planet Earth. Named after the capital city of Cuba, hand-rolled Havanas were the preferred cigar of Samuel Clemens, also known as Mark Twain. Clemens didn't believe a replicated cigar could ever take the place of a Havana. (TNG: "Time's Arrow, Part II")
