Hasbro is an American toy and game company. It is the second-largest toy maker in the world, second only to the toy giant Mattel. The corporate headquarters is located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Only one known Star Trek-related product was produced directly by Hasbro: the 1974-produced Star Trek Game. In 2011, Hasbro released four Mr. Potato Head toys of James T. Kirk, Kor, Spock and Nyota Uhura.

In 2012, Hasbro announced they will make toys for the Untitled Star Trek sequel due for release the following year.[1]

Hasbro is currently the parent company of such brands as Milton Bradley, Parker Brothers, South Bend, Tiger Electronics, Wizards of the Coast and Galoob. They have licensed several of these properties to other companies (notably USAopoly and Fundex), who have produced Star Trek-themed versions of their games.
