The Harmonic Resonance Chamber is a device first designed and build by Seven of Nine aboard the starship USS Voyager. It implemented the natural harmonic frequency of the Omega molecule to stabilise it enough for Omega to be safely destroyed. Later, Seven of Nine claimed it could be succesfull in stabilising Omega completely, but Captain Kathryn Janeway felt that the risk of Omega destabilising was unacceptable. However, as a fluke, shortly before the chamber was ejected from the cargo bay, Omega stabilised and Seven of Nine witnessed what Borg describe as 'perfection'. By that time however, the decompression cycle of the bay could not be stopped, and the chamber and its contents were jetisoned and then destroyed. (VOY: "The Omega Directive")
