According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (pg. 56), the H'atoria colony was named after the H'atoria system. The H'atoria system was located in or near Klingon space, in the Beta Quadrant. This system was a binary star system. Primary was a Class M star with a magnitude of +5, which was the same brightness as Sol. Secondary was a Class M star.
