Template:Realworld Guy Tsujimoto (born 30 April 1962; age 61) is a sound editor who plied his craft for Star Trek: The Next Generation, although he was not credited until the start of season six. When that series ended, he moved on to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, beginning with season three. He was also sound editor on the video games Star Trek: Klingon and Star Trek: Borg and on the Star Trek: The Experience movie Klingon Encounter.
Tsujimoto shared an Emmy Award with the rest of the sound editing department for their work on the TNG episode "Q Who". He and his fellow sound editors received two more nominations for their work on TNG, one for "Time's Arrow, Part II" and another for "Genesis". In addition, Tsujimoto, Miguel Rivera, and five others shared an Emmy nomination for an episode of MacGyver in 1990. Ten years later, Tsujimoto and several other veteran Trek sound editors received an Emmy nomination for the episode of The Others entitled "Eyes". Tsujimoto received his sixth and latest Emmy nomination in 2004 as part of the sound editing team of the TV movie 44 Minutes: The North Hollywood Shoot-Out.
In addition to his Emmy nominations, Tsujimoto, Mace Matiosian, Eric Williams, and Harry Cohen received a Golden Reel Award nomination from the Motion Picture Sound Editors Academy for the same episode of The Others for which they received an Emmy nomination. Tsujimoto also earned a Golden Reel nomination for his work on the film U-571, which was shared by Miguel Rivera and Jon Johnson, among others. Tsujimoto went on to receive another Golden Reel nomination for 44 Minutes.
Tsujimoto's other television credits include Sliders, Ally McBeal, Seven Days, and My Name Is Earl. Along with the aforementioned U-571, the films on which Tsujimoto has worked include Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh, Thirteen Days, and 3000 Miles to Graceland.
