Gregory "Greg" Cantrell is an electrician in the camera and electrical department who worked as rigging chief lighting technician on Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek: Insurrection, as rigging electrician on Star Trek Nemesis, and as additional electrician on the Star Trek: Enterprise pilot episode "Broken Bow". For the latter one he received no screen credit but is listed on the call sheets.

Further credits as electrician and gaffer include the comedy The Blues Brothers (1980), the television comedy The Facts of Life Goes to Paris (1982), the comedy ¡Three Amigos! (1986), the science fiction action film Demolition Man (1993), the comedy sequel Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult (1994), the comedy Black Sheep (1996), the thriller Desperate Measures (1998), the thriller The Salton Sea (2002), the family movie The Master of Disguise (2002), the comedy Team America: World Police (2004), and the drama Lions for Lambs (2007).

In addition, Cantrell worked as assistant chief lighting technician on the drama Indecent Proposal (1993, with Brent Lon Hershman and Michael D. Weldon) and as rigging chief lighting technician on the comic adaptation Batman Forever (1995) and on the family comedy Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007).
