Gregory "Greg" Rainoff is a visual effects animator who worked for Digital Magic and later Digital Muse on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise, and Star Trek Nemesis. His work earned him ten Emmy Award nominations and four wins in the category Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series for the following episodes:

Rainoff also worked as digital effects artist on the Star Trek documentaries Star Trek: A Captain's Log (1994) and William Shatner's Star Trek Memories (1995). Outside of the Star Trek franchise, he worked as compositor on the short drama I? (2005, starring Sharon Lawrence) and on the horror sequel Urban Legends: Bloody Mary (2005, with Steve Fong, Paul Hill, and Eddie Robison).
In 2010 he worked as director and producer on the documentary El muro and in 2011 as editor and cinematographer on the short film Borrando la Frontera and as location sound manager on the documentary Tierra Brillante.
