Gregg Daniel is the actor who played Mobar, the Tuvok impersonator, in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Live Fast and Prosper".

Daniel played the recurring role of Dean Whitmore on Beverly Hills 90210 in the mid-1990s. He later made several appearances as Grady on the short-lived Mike Hammer, Private Eye.

In 1994, Daniel worked with his future Voyager co-star Robert Beltran on an episode of Models Inc. In 2002, Daniel guest-starred on an episode of David E. Kelley's Boston Public, starring another Voyager co-star, Jeri Ryan. Five years later, he was seen on another Kelley production, Boston Legal, starring William Shatner and John Larroquette.

He has made guest appearances on numerous other television shows, including Knots Landing, Home Improvement, Chicago Hope, Wings (starring Steven Weber), Picket Fences (with Ray Walston), NewsRadio (starring Andy Dick and Stephen Root), J.J. Abrams' Felicity (with Chris Sarandon), ER, 7th Heaven (starring Stephen Collins and Catherine Hicks), Party of Five (with David Graf), The West Wing (also with David Graf), NYPD Blue (starring Gordon Clapp), and Desperate Housewives, on which he worked with the likes of Hamilton Camp, Brett Cullen, Steven Culp, Teri Hatcher, Sharon Lawrence, and Mark Moses.

Daniel's film credits include Pump Up the Volume (with Christian Slater and Alexander Enberg), Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (featuring Matt Frewer and Kevin Conway), Mars Attacks! (co-starring Paul Winfield and Willie Garson), Gun Shy (with Louis Giambalvo and Aaron Lustig), and Hollywood Homicide (with James MacDonald and Clyde Kusatsu). He was most recently seen as a detective in Spider-Man 3 (starring Kirsten Dunst and James Cromwell) and as a congressman in Evan Almighty (with Bruce Gray and Harve Presnell), both released in 2007.
