The Goralis system was a Cardassian planetary star system near the Badlands. This system was located in the Alpha Quadrant.

In 2375, the runabout USS Gander, carrying Lieutenant Ezri Dax and Lieutenant Commander Worf, attempted to lose two pursuing Jem'Hadar attack ships in this system. The runabout was destroyed in the atmosphere of Goralis III, though Dax and Worf transported to the surface. They were later captured by a Breen warship. (DS9: "Penumbra", "Tears of the Prophets")

Goralis was shown on the battle plan for the First Battle of Chin'toka in DS9: "Tears of the Prophets".
