Gideon Seyetik, a human male.

Professor Gideon Seyetik was a terraformer, known as one of the greatest minds in the Federation during the mid-24th century. Some of his work includes the planets Blue Horizon and New Halana. He considered Da Vinci Falls to be Blue Horizon's "crowning glory".

He also had an exhibit of his paintings displayed at the Central Gallery on Ligobis X (DS9: "Second Sight")

The professor appreciated the works of the Klingon poet G'Trok, who wrote "The Fall of Kang", and as well, was an accomplished chef.

Seyetik once visited Terosa Prime, where his wife Nidell almost died when she lost control of her psycho-projective telepathy and created an alter ego, Fenna.

In 2370, the USS Prometheus was assigned to assist Seyetik in a project where he used protomatter in an attempt to reignite the star Epsilon 119.

He later piloted a shuttlepod into Epsilon 119 killing himself, but successfully reigniting the dead star. (DS9: "Second Sight")

Professor Seyetik was played by the late Richard Kiley.
