Gezid was a name given to a star by Iko, a Benkaran.
In 2377, at the USS Voyager's astrometrics lab, Seven of Nine showed Iko some of the stars he used to look at in the night sky in on his homeworld. He named one of them Paedos and named another Gezid, after a beast. (VOY: "Repentance")
