Gerace was a Starfleet cadet who entered Starfleet Academy in the 2250s.

When Vulcan was attacked by the Narada in 2258, Gerace was assigned to the USS Farragut to assist in the rescue attempts. He was presumably killed during the mission when the Farragut was destroyed by the Narada. (Star Trek)
