George Washington (1732 – 1799) was a general and Commander in Chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolution.

He later served as a statesman who served as first President of the United States from 1789 to 1797 and was a key figure in early American history. The capital city of the United States of America, Washington, DC, as well as the state of Washington, were later named in his honor. (TOS: "The Cage")

George washington in revolutionary war

Washington during the Revolutionary War.

Images depicting George Washington were scanned by the Talosians as they reviewed the library computer files on board USS Enterprise in 2254. (TOS-R: "The Cage")

The original version of "The Cage" depicted both a simple sketch and a painting of Washington during the Talosian's scan of the Enterprise computers.

Kyril Finn compared himself to Washington to justify his own struggle on behalf of Ansatan independence. Dr. Beverly Crusher rejected the comparison, noting that Washington did not attack innocent civilians. (TNG: "The High Ground")

Washington also appeared in a matte painting of Mount Rushmore, shown in a deleted scene from Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.

In an alternate timeline in which Nazi Germany invaded the United States, a portrait of Washington was prominently displayed during a Madison Square Garden rally hosting Adolf Hitler. (ENT: "Storm Front, Part II")
