George Ede (born 22 December 1931; age 80) is the actor who played the holographic Parallax colony poet in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episode "Cost of Living" in 1992. He filmed his scenes on Wednesday 12 February 1992 and Thursday 13 February 1992 on Paramount Stage 16.
