The Geological lab report was a report from a Geologist aboard a Constitution-class starship.

In 2254, the Geologist aboard USS Enterprise completed such a report about Talos IV, stating that their readings show an oxygen nitrogen atmosphere, heavy with inert elements, but well within safety limits. (TOS: "The Cage")
