A geisha was a young Japanese woman who was trained to provide non-sexual entertainment for men.
In 2266, the android Andrea was likened to "a mechanical geisha" in an argument between Christine Chapel and her former fiance, Roger Korby. (TOS: "What Are Little Girls Made Of?")
The script for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "A Man Alone" described the Lauriento massage holoprogram 101A as "a small room with an alien Geisha House-like setting".
