Chancellor Gaumen was a humanoid who assisted Dumah in negotiations with USS Voyager for passage through their territory. The B'omar were a xenophobic race and laid out many restrictions for the passage. Gaumen and Dumah ended the negotiations when Seven entered their territory without permission to look for the ship that she and her parents were on before they were assimilated. (VOY: "The Raven")
