Gaullism was a political movement in France.

In 2024, Europe was in a state of political turmoil. In France, the Gaullists had failed to deal with widespread student protests and were replaced by neo-Trotskyists, but they were unsuccessful as well. (DS9: "Past Tense, Part II")

Gaulism was named for Charles de Gaulle.
