Located near the Federation-Cardassian border, Gaspar VII was the inhabited seventh planet of the Gaspar system. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets")
Captain Edwell was a native of this planet, but according to Commander Hutchinson he didn't look like other people from Gaspar VII. (TNG: "Starship Mine")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I"), Gaspar VII was listed as a member planet of the Federation in 2378.
