Prior to his work on The Next Generation, he was a set designer on the television series Moonlighting (1989). Further work as set designer includes the science fiction blockbuster Armageddon (1998), the action comedy Inspector Gadget (1999), the thriller Stir of Echoes (1999), the television comedy Annie (1999), the drama Pay It Forward (2000), and the thriller Frailty (2001).

In 2008 he worked as production supervisor on the reality television show The Moment of Truth.
